Nippon Thompson Ups Full-Year Forecast Amid Strong Demand
TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Nippon Thompson CO.,LTD. (6480.T) revised its fiscal 2027 second quarter and full-year consolidated earnings forecasts upward due to continued strong demand for electronics-related machinery and equipment investment needs.
For the six months ending September 30, 2026, revenue is now expected to reach ¥39.80 billion, up 7% from previous estimates. Operating profit is forecast at ¥5.600 billion, a 51.4% increase. Net income per share is projected to rise 75%, reaching ¥60.3 million per share compared to the prior estimate of ¥34.6 million. Looking ahead to the full fiscal year through March 31, 2027, the company expects revenue of ¥80.00 billion, a 6.7% improvement from earlier projections.
Operating profit is seen at ¥11.70 billion, a 40.2% jump. Net income per share is anticipated to grow 39.7% to ¥136.9 million. Despite the positive outlook, the company maintained its dividend guidance at the previously announced levels pending further review of market conditions and exchange rate impacts post-second quarter results. A final decision on dividends and shareholder returns will be made upon releasing mid-term earnings in December.
