Nippon Kinzoku Appoints New Independent Committee Member

TOKYO, Jun 26 (Pulse News Wire) – Nippon Kinzoku CO.,LTD. (5491.T) appointed Abé Yutaka as a new member of its independent committee effective June 26, 2026.

The appointment follows the resignation of Shōya Akira, who completed his term as an external auditor during the 119th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held earlier today. Abé Yutaka, previously serving as an external auditor for Kao Corporation since June 2026, brings extensive experience in international banking and manufacturing leadership roles.

His career includes positions such as International Business Director at Mizuho Bank and President of JUKI Machinery China. The independent committee now consists of five members: Abé Yutaka, Ogawa Kazuyuki, Nagatsuka Ryoichi, Kayahashi Yuko, and Korihara Kazuhiko.
