NEXT Funds Topix-17 Adjusts ETF Subscription Deadline Times

TOKYO, May 19 (Pulse News Wire) – Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd. (management code 13,064), led by CEO and President Shuichi Ooka, announced changes to the subscription and exchange deadline times for 33 ETFs effective July 14.

The new cutoff time for applications will be 4 p.m., up from the previous 3:30 p.m., except for companies whose shares are part of the underlying index, which will still have a deadline of 2:30 p.m. This adjustment aims to enhance investor convenience and align with operational conditions. The changes will take effect without requiring formal resolutions or objections from stakeholders.

The revised terms will apply specifically to the investment trust agreements' supplementary provisions and will not impact trading through the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The detailed schedule includes filing the amendment by July 14 and applying the changes on July 15. Investors should note that sales agents may have varying application deadlines.
