NE Establishes Korean Subsidiary to Expand Cross-Border EC Business
TOKYO, Jul 17 (Pulse News Wire) – NE Inc. (441A.T) announced on July 17 that it has decided to establish a subsidiary in South Korea to expand its cross-border e-commerce (EC) operations.
The move aligns with the company's mid-term growth strategy aimed at leveraging its established EC platforms in Japan to penetrate Asian markets. The newly formed entity, named NE Korea Inc., will be headquartered in Seoul and capitalized at ₩. The company plans to commence operations on October 1, 2026, following its establishment on August 3, 2026. NE Korea Inc. will focus on developing, providing, and managing EC operation systems. Representatives for NE Korea Inc.
Will include CEO Lee Sanghyeon, while NE Inc.'s President and CEO Hiura Noriya will serve as a director. The capital investment ratio stands at 100.0% for NE Inc. The subsidiary will operate as a wholly-owned affiliate, with NE Inc. holding a 100% stake.
