Nansin Not Joining Accounting Standards Body Despite Listing Requirements
TOKYO, Jun 30 (Pulse News Wire) – Nansin CO.,LTD. (7399.T) disclosed that as of March 31, 2026, it had not joined the Financial Accounting Standards Foundation (FASF).
According to the Tokyo Stock Exchange's listing regulations, companies are required to join FASF under Article 409-2. The company stated that as of the end of the fiscal year on March 31, 2026, it remained unaffiliated with FASF. However, Nansin believes that maintaining accurate understanding and timely responses to changes in accounting standards is crucial.
To achieve this, the firm relies on close collaboration with its audit committee, participation in seminars hosted by various institutions, and regular updates through publications. Regarding future plans, Nansin intends to continue utilizing existing methods to ensure adherence to accounting standards and the integrity of its financial statements. The company also noted that it would consider joining FASF based on ongoing developments related to the planned adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
