Mitsui Fudosan Accommodations Fund Secures Loan of 1 Trillion
TOKYO, Jul 29 (Pulse News Wire) – Mitsui Fudosan Accommodations Fund Inc. (3226.T) announced today that it has secured a loan of ¥1 trillion from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
The loan will be executed on July 31, 2026, and will be repaid in full on the same day without collateral or guarantee. The interest rate is based on the average of the Tokyo Interbank Offered Rate (TIBOR) for one-month Japanese yen published two business days prior to each payment date. This loan is intended to repay existing borrowings totaling ¥1.1 trillion, which were initially taken out on August 15, 2022. Following this transaction, the fund's total debt will decrease by ¥10 billion.
As of now, the firm’s total debt stands at ¥1,652 billion, down from ¥1,662 billion previously. The interest-bearing liabilities ratio will drop to 67.3%, down from 67.4%. In addition, the long-term interest-bearing liabilities ratio will remain unchanged at 94.7%. Notably, the repayment schedule for part of the existing borrowing amounting to ¥1.1 trillion remains on track for its due date.
The risks associated with this borrowing and repayment process have remained consistent since the filing of the securities report on May 29, 2026, with no significant changes noted.
