Mitsui DM Sugar to Report Impairment Loss of 4.116 Billion for Related Company Loan Provision

TOKYO, Apr 21 (Pulse News Wire) – Mitsui DM Sugar CO.,LTD. (2109.T) reported that it expects to record a provision for impairment loss related to a loan to its subsidiary, SIS’88 Pte Ltd, amounting to ¥4.116 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.

The impairment loss will be recognized as a special loss item in the individual financial statements. However, since SIS’88 Pte Ltd is a consolidated subsidiary, the impact on the consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, will be eliminated through consolidation and therefore will not affect the overall performance metrics.
