Mitsuchi Corp Reports Higher Sales, Operating Profit Than Forecast
TOKYO, Jul 31 (Pulse News Wire) – Mitsuchi Corporation (3439.NG) reported higher sales and operating profit figures compared to its previous forecast for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. According to the company's latest earnings report, revenue was recorded at ¥12.57 billion, surpassing the previously estimated ¥12.56 billion.
Similarly, operating profit reached ¥280 million, up from the earlier projection of ¥201 million. However, net income attributable to parent company shareholders fell below expectations, standing at ¥213 million against the forecasted ¥237 million. The variance in results can largely be attributed to stronger-than-expected orders received from customers, particularly from subsidiaries in Thailand, along with ongoing cost reduction initiatives across the group.
Despite these positive factors, a significant impairment loss recognized on fixed assets at the end of the fiscal period led to lower-than-projected net income. In comparison to the prior fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, Mitsuchi’s performance showed improvements in key metrics such as revenue, which increased by 13%, and operating profit, which grew by 79%. However, the net income per share declined by 10.4% to ¥45.6 million due to the aforementioned asset impairments.
