Mitsubishi Pencil Company Decides Special Shareholder Benefits Details

TOKYO, Jul 30 (Pulse News Wire) – Mitsubishi Pencil Company,limited (7976.T) announced, that it had finalized the details of special shareholder benefits previously disclosed on February 13, 2025. The benefits include three items from the LAMY brand: a fountain pen, ink cartridges, and a notebook.

Eligible shareholders who meet the criteria by June 30, 2025, and June 30, 2026, will receive their gifts in September to October of those respective years. In 2024, Mitsubishi Pencil acquired C. Josef Lamy GmbH, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary. The special shareholder benefits aim to increase awareness of the LAMY brand among shareholders and enhance investment appeal in the company's stock.

To qualify, shareholders must hold at least one unit (100 shares) continuously for more than one year, with eligibility confirmed through five consecutive record dates during the holding period. For shareholders meeting the criteria by June 30, 2025, gifts were dispatched in September to October 2025. Those qualifying by June 30, 2026, are scheduled to receive their gifts in September to October 2026. This marks the end of the special shareholder benefit program, but the company plans to introduce a regular shareholder benefit scheme soon.
