Maxis Japan Proactive ETF Shows Persistent Price Discrepancy Since July 13
TOKYO, Jul 22 (Pulse News Wire) – Maxis Japan Proactive Investment In Physical And Human Capital 200 Index ETF (1485.T), reported a significant divergence between the fund's net asset value (NAV) and trading price since July 13. The ETF, which experienced a continuous seven-day gap exceeding 5%, saw discrepancies ranging from 7.54% to 6.74%.
On July 13, the closing market price was ¥52,450 per share compared to the NAV of ¥56,728, resulting in a deviation rate of 7.54%. Similar disparities persisted through July 22, with the latest figures showing a market price of ¥52,450 against an NAV of ¥56,241, marking a deviation of 6.74%.
This persistent gap is attributed to low trading volumes, making arbitrage less effective and leading to sustained pricing discrepancies. Investors are advised to carefully consider these differences when buying or selling shares of the ETF.
