TOKYO, Jun 22 (Pulse News Wire) – Macnica Holdings, inc. (3132.T) announced today that its board of directors has approved changes to the company's reporting segments effective from the fiscal year ending March 2027.
The revisions aim to enhance transparency and improve the understanding of the group’s operations among shareholders and investors. Previously, the company reported two main segments: “Integrated Circuit and Electronic Devices Business” and “Cybersecurity and Other IT Solution Business.” Due to the growing importance of CPS (Cyber-Physical Systems) solutions, which have seen significant revenue growth alongside expanding service and solution businesses, MACNICA will now classify CPS solutions as a separate reporting segment.
Additionally, the existing segments will be renamed; “Integrated Circuit and Electronic Devices Business” will be rebranded as “Semiconductor Business,” while “Cybersecurity and Other IT Solution Business” will be renamed “Cybersecurity Business.” Under the revised structure, the Semiconductor Business will encompass integrated circuits and electronic devices, Cybersecurity Business will cover cybersecurity-related hardware, software, and services, and CPS Solutions Business will focus on hardware, software, and services related to smart cities/mobility and smart manufacturing. The changes will take effect beginning with the first quarter results of the fiscal year ending March 2027.
Notably, these adjustments are solely aimed at improving reporting clarity and will not impact consolidated financial performance.
