TOKYO, Aug 06 (Pulse News Wire) – Kurita Water Industries Ltd. (6370.T) reported robust first quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 2027, despite ongoing economic uncertainties.

Revenue reached ¥99.899 billion, up 14.1% from the same period last year. Operating profit surged to ¥14.142 billion, marking a 63.8% increase compared to the previous year's figure. Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company stood at ¥1.001 billion, reflecting a significant rise of 154.9%. In addition to strong performance, the company completed the sale of its precision cleaning operations in the United States through Pentagon Technologies Group Inc.

During the quarter. This transaction contributed significantly to the improved financial metrics, particularly in operating profit and net income. Other income increased by ¥4.98 billion due to foreign exchange gains related to the divestiture.
