Kohsoku Expands Business Scope With New Environmental Initiatives

TOKYO, May 18 (Pulse News Wire) – KOHSOKU CORPORATION (7504.T) resolved today to propose amendments to its articles of incorporation at its upcoming annual general meeting scheduled for June 24, 2026. The changes aim to diversify its operations by adding environmental initiatives focused on sustainable waste management.

Under the proposed amendment, the company's purpose will expand to include the collection, transportation, processing, recycling, and sale of recycled products. This move aligns with KOHSOKU’s strategy to reduce environmental impact through the recovery of containers sold, creating new business opportunities while promoting sustainable environmental activities.

The amended articles of incorporation will take effect on June 24, 2026, following approval at the shareholders' meeting. The resolution was made during a board meeting held today, led by President and CEO Heru Yuki.
