Kobayashi YOKO Reports June Commodity Futures Trading Volume Up 16.7%
TOKYO, Jul 02 (Pulse News Wire) – Kobayashi Yoko CO.,LTD. (8742.T) reported its monthly trading volume for June 2026.
According to the preliminary figures, the total commodity futures trading volume increased by 16.7% compared to May, reaching 4,483 contracts in June. Precious metals accounted for the majority of the increase, while energy and other markets saw slight declines. In detail, precious metal market volumes rose from 5,612 in April to 4,483 in June, marking a significant recovery despite a drop in May. Energy market volumes decreased slightly from 128 in April to 115 in June, while other categories remained relatively stable at around 12 contracts.
Kobayashi Yoko also disclosed its financial instruments trading performance. The total trading volume for financial instruments reached 293,177 contracts in June, up 47.7% from May. Specifically, the trading volume for Nikkei 225 futures (365) was 384,511 in June, contributing significantly to the overall growth. Additionally, the trading volume for general financial derivatives (365) stood at 99,255 contracts in June.
These results highlight the firm's continued engagement in active trading across various financial products, reflecting market dynamics and investor activity during the month.
