Kanto Denka Kogyo Corrects Shareholder Derivative Suit Announcement

TOKYO, Jul 28 (Pulse News Wire) – Kanto Denka Kogyo CO.,LTD. (4047.T) corrected parts of its previously released shareholder derivative suit notice dated June 09, 2026.

The correction pertains to the timing and number of defendants involved in the lawsuit filed against the company's directors. In the revised statement, the company received a notice of the lawsuit on July 24, 2026, rather than July 23, 2026, as initially reported.

Additionally, the number of defendants was reduced from nine to eight, with seven current directors and one former director named in the complaint seeking damages. Furthermore, the company plans to make an electronic announcement based on Article 849, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act.

The updated notice states that the lawsuit was filed with the Tokyo District Court on July 24, 2026, and the company received the litigation notification on the same day.
