Kaihan Cancels Continuation Meeting, Sets New Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting
TOKYO, Jul 24 (Pulse News Wire) – Kaihan CO.,LTD. (3133.T) canceled its continuation meeting scheduled, due to ongoing discussions with its accounting auditor regarding the company's funding plans and financing reliability.
Following receipt of an unqualified opinion report from Progress Audit Corporation on June 26, 2026, the company decided to set a new base date and convene an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting to address the 23rd fiscal year’s reports and related matters. The cancellation was necessitated because the continuation meeting could not proceed without a qualified audit opinion, which requires additional verification time. The company stated that once the necessary confirmation period concludes and the audit opinion is received, it will announce the new base date and schedule for the extraordinary meeting.
In addition to addressing the 23rd fiscal year’s reports, the extraordinary meeting will cover the consolidated financial statements and audit results for the same period. Shareholders who attended the regular meeting held on June 26, 2026, should note that attendance at the extraordinary meeting will depend on their shareholding status as of a newly established base date, expected to differ from previous ones. Kaihan emphasized its commitment to improving cash flow management and restructuring its operations while working closely with the auditor to expedite the completion of the audit process.
