JCU to Dissolve Indian Subsidiary JCU Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd.
TOKYO, Jul 23 (Pulse News Wire) – JCU Corporation (4975.T) announced today that its board of directors resolved to dissolve and liquidate its subsidiary, JCU Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd., effective immediately.
Established in January 16, 2008, the subsidiary was set up to sell surface treatment chemicals and equipment in India's automotive and electronics industries. The decision follows efforts to streamline operations through consolidation of overseas bases. Located in Bangalore, India, JCU Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd. had a capital of ¥200,000 thousand Indian rupees.
As of December 2025, the subsidiary reported total assets of ¥94 million, revenue of ¥16 million, operating profit of -¥49 million, ordinary profit of -¥49 million, and net profit of -¥49 million. JCU Corporation holds 100% of the subsidiary’s shares, indirectly owning 0.0%. Following local regulations, the dissolution process will conclude upon completion of necessary procedures.
