TOKYO, May 13 (Pulse News Wire) – Japan Petroleum Exploration CO.,LTD. (1662.T) announced plans to record a special gain of ¥31.00 billion due to the transfer of its gas manufacturing, sales, and pipeline businesses in Hokkaido to Hokkaido Electric Power Company.
The transaction was initially disclosed on December 03, 2025. According to the company's preliminary estimates, this special profit will be recognized in the fiscal year ending March 2027.
In addition, Japan Petroleum Exploration stated that the impact of this business transfer on its consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending March 2027 has been reflected in the previously published earnings forecast for the same period.
