J-Stream Reports Strong Q1 Revenue and Profit Growth

– J-Stream Inc. (4308.T) reported robust revenue growth of 22.0% and operating profit increase of 53.1% for the quarter ended March 31, 2026.

Consolidated sales reached ¥3.09 billion, surpassing the previous peak set during the pandemic year of 2021. The strong performance was driven by solid contributions from subsidiaries, particularly VideoStep and IPEL, which exceeded their sales projections. Key segments showed varied results. In the pharmaceutical sector, despite a decline in large client orders, mid-tier clients and new customers contributed positively.

Meanwhile, the EVC division maintained steady growth through consistent demand for live streaming services and virtual shareholder meetings. The media and content segment benefited from major projects, offsetting declines in regular contracts. Management highlighted cost-saving measures such as reduced outsourcing and hiring, contributing to improved gross margins and controlled general expenses. Looking ahead, J-Stream plans to continue expanding its service offerings and leveraging recent acquisitions to sustain V-shaped growth momentum.
