Izumi Reports Earthquake Damage in Kumamoto, Operations Under Review

TOKYO, Jul 29 (Pulse News Wire) – Izumi CO.,LTD. (8273.T) reported damage caused by the earthquake that struck the Kumamoto area on July 28 at 16:27 local time.

The company extends condolences to those affected by the disaster. Regarding the impact on personnel, several dozen employees within the group have sustained injuries but none are life-threatening.

In terms of store operations, 35 outlets across five shopping centers "Yume Town" and 27 food supermarkets "Yume Mart," along with three stores "Sunny" located in Kumamoto Prefecture suffered exterior and interior damages. All 35 stores remain closed pending further inspections and investigations to resume operations.
