Ispace Ends Contract With Draper Under NASA's CLPS Program

– Ispace, inc. (9348.T) announced the termination of a contract related to NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program task order CP-12.

The agreement was originally signed between NASA and Charles Stark Draper Laboratory (Draper) in July 2022. iSpace Technologies U.S., Inc. had subsequently entered into a subcontract with Draper to develop and prepare lunar landing vehicles for moon surface transportation services under CP-12. Following the conclusion of the NASA-Draper contract, the iSpace-U.S.-Draper subcontract is also expected to end.

Draper, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, specializes in defense and space product manufacturing. Founded in 1973, Draper has previously contracted with iSpace for navigation control software development for Mission 5 and the CP-12 subcontract. In a separate statement, iSpace noted that the termination of the CP-12 contract will not impact its fiscal year 2027 consolidated earnings forecast. The company had already excluded anticipated revenue from this contract in its previous guidance released on March 27, 2026, which adjusted mission schedules to integrate a new model combining Japanese and American landers.

Going forward, iSpace stated it would promptly disclose any significant financial impacts arising from this development.
