Ishares USD Investment BlackRock Japan Changes Index Names for Two US Dollar-Bond ETFs

TOKYO, Jul 27 (Pulse News Wire) – Ishares USD Investment Grade Corporate Bond JPY Hedged ETF (1496.T) and another related ETF, announced changes to the index names for both funds effective July 27, 2026. The firm stated that while the methodology remains unchanged, the index names for both ETFs will be updated.

The iShares USD Investment Grade Corporate Bond JPY Hedged ETF will now track the iBoxx USD-denominated investment-grade bond index (TTM yen-hedged). Previously, it followed the Markit iBoxx USD-denominated investment-grade bond index (TTM yen-hedged).

Similarly, the second ETF will transition from tracking the Markit iBoxx USD-denominated liquid high-yield index (TTM yen-hedged) to the iBoxx USD-denominated liquid high-yield index (TTM yen-hedged). Details of the amended fund descriptions will be communicated in due course through revised prospectuses.
