IC Sees Special Gain From Securities Sale

TOKYO, Jul 28 (Pulse News Wire) – IC CO.,LTD. (4769.T) announced that it resolved at the July 28 board meeting to sell part of its investment securities portfolio.

As a result, the company expects to record approximately ¥162 million as special gain from the sale of investment securities in the September 2026 fiscal period. The decision was made to align with the Corporate Governance Code, review policy holdings, and enhance management resources and financial strength. The planned sale involves two listed securities held by the company and is scheduled to be completed by the end of September 2026.

However, the projected amount could fluctuate based on current stock prices and conditions. This special gain is expected to be recognized as a one-time item in the consolidated earnings forecast for the September 2026 fiscal period. The company noted that while it continues to assess overall performance factors, any necessary adjustments to the forecast will be communicated promptly.
