Hokkai Denko Appoints New Director Amid Board Reorganization

– Hokkai Denko (1832.S) announced changes to its board of directors following meetings held . Key appointments include the reappointment of Yasuhiko Abeshita as President and Representative Director, and Masami Takiguchi as a newly appointed director responsible for safety quality, GX solutions, and underground lines departments.

Additionally, the company confirmed the continued roles of several existing executives such as Hiroyuki Yasuhara as CEO, Masahiro Konoma overseeing power-related businesses, Masashi Inoue handling equipment and telecommunications divisions, and Yoshihiro Yamagami managing operations and human resources. Notably, Yoshitaka Sugawara was also elected as a new director, while Hiroyuki Kobayashi remains as a permanent audit committee member.
