Gunosy Loses Major Shareholder After KDDI's Full Stake Sale
TOKYO, Aug 05 (Pulse News Wire) – Gunosy Inc. (6047.T) announced on August 5 that KDDI Corporation, previously its major shareholder, has sold off its entire stake in the company.
As a result, KDDI Corporation is no longer considered a significant shareholder of Gunosy Inc. Prior to the sale, KDDI Corporation held 3,550,000 shares, making it the second-largest shareholder. Following the transaction, KDDI Corporation’s shareholding dropped to zero, eliminating its influence on the company’s decision-making process.
KDDI Corporation, headquartered in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, operates primarily in telecommunications services and has a capital of ¥141.9 billion. The divestiture does not anticipate any impact on Gunosy Inc.’s operating profit, ordinary profit, net profit, or revenue. The company remains focused on its ongoing operations without expecting changes in performance due to this shift in shareholder composition.
