Glory Reports Strong First Quarter Revenue Growth Amid Economic Uncertainty
TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Glory Ltd. (6457.T) reported robust revenue growth for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, despite economic uncertainties.
Revenue reached ¥1.05 billion, up 128% year-over-year. Operating profit surged to ¥249 million, a significant increase from last year's loss of ¥109 million. The company attributed the strong performance to increased demand for self-service products driven by labor cost pressures and efficiency needs globally. In Japan, sales recovered across various markets, while overseas, Europe saw substantial gains in key product lines. However, the gaming sector faced challenges due to slower pace of introductions.
Regarding financial health, Glory’s capital stood at ¥15.444 billion, reflecting a decrease compared to the previous fiscal year-end. Cash and cash equivalents grew by ¥67 million, contributing positively to liquidity. The company plans to continue focusing on strategic investments to support future growth. Glory Ltd. will hold an analyst meeting on September 15, 2026, to discuss detailed results and outlook.
