Fujikura Kasei to Appoint New Auditor for Annual Meeting

TOKYO, May 20 (Pulse News Wire) – Fujikura Kasei CO.,LTD. (4620.T) announced today that its audit committee resolved to appoint a new auditor for the upcoming 115th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for June 25, 2026.

At the meeting held, the company decided to replace its existing auditor, EY Shin Nihon Certified Public Accountants LLP, which has served since 1961, with Taiyou Limited Liability Accounting Firm. The transition was approved during a board meeting set for May 21, 2026. Taiyou Limited Liability Accounting Firm, located at Akasaka K Tower, will take over the role due to expectations of fresh perspectives and comprehensive suitability for the company's operations and size.

The firm’s executives, Wada Makiro and Okuda Takeshi, are expected to lead the auditing process. In addition, the company stated that the decision was made after considering various factors such as independence, quality management systems, expertise, and fairness. The outgoing auditor, EY Shin Nihon, did not object to the change and concurred with the rationale behind the selection of Taiyou.
