FUJI Seiki Adjusts Mid-Year Forecast Due to Revenue Discrepancies

– Fuji Seiki CO.,LTD. (6400.T) adjusted its mid-year forecast due to discrepancies between previously announced estimates and actual results for the fiscal year ending December 2026.

The company reported higher-than-expected revenue of ¥4.413 billion compared to the previous estimate of ¥4.303 billion. Operating profit also exceeded expectations, reaching ¥307 million against an earlier projection of ¥216 million. However, sales performance varied across segments, with delays in collection procedures impacting the precision mold division's operations in China, while subsidiaries in Indonesia and Thailand outperformed forecasts in the precision molded products division.

Despite lower operating margins in the precision mold sector, overall increased revenues led to improved profitability, resulting in a net income attributable to parent shareholders of ¥201 million, surpassing the prior estimate of ¥142 million. Ordinary profit reached ¥24.9 million, up from the estimated ¥17.6 million, despite foreign exchange losses amounting to ¥30 million. The adjustments reflect the dynamic nature of global markets and operational challenges faced by the company’s international subsidiaries.
