– Foster Electric Company, limited (6794.T) reported a lower net profit of 9 billion yen for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, compared to a profit of 49.51 billion yen in the same period last year. Revenue declined by 26.96 billion yen to 137.607 billion yen, while operating profit fell to 6.796 billion yen from 7.670 billion yen previously.

In its SP (Speaker) division, revenue decreased due to lower sales to some Chinese automakers, though higher-margin speaker sales offset some losses. In the MA (Mobile Audio) division, strong sales of actuators and headphones contributed to increased profitability despite slower growth in automotive headsets.

The Other segment saw significant improvement, transitioning from a loss to a profit of 475 million yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, Foster Electric forecasts revenue and operating profit to increase, targeting a net income of 4.951 billion yen.

The company plans to enhance shareholder returns through dividends, aiming for either a payout ratio of 30% or a dividend yield of 2%, whichever is higher.
