Ferrotec Resumes Operations After Earthquake Damage

TOKYO, Aug 05 (Pulse News Wire) – Ferrotec Corporation (6890.T) announced today that operations at its Kumamoto facility, which was affected by the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that struck the region on July 28 at 16:27 local time, have resumed. The company conducted an investigation into physical damage, such as equipment displacement, and initiated repairs immediately following the quake.

Despite identifying areas requiring repair, the facility has successfully reopened on August 5. The Kumamoto-based operation, known as Ferrotec Technology Development Japan Co., Ltd., specializes in precision component cleaning services for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
