Eurasia Travel Reports Interim Loss Despite Revenue Growth
TOKYO, May 08 (Pulse News Wire) – Eurasia Travel CO.,LTD. (9376.T) reported interim results for the six months ending March 31, 2026.
Operating revenue increased by 10.8% to ¥1.084 billion compared to the same period last year. However, operating profit declined by 18.5% to ¥93 million due to higher costs associated with customer safety during travel disruptions caused by geopolitical events and ongoing inflationary pressures. Despite the challenges, the company maintained its dividend policy, aiming to distribute more than 70% of its net income to shareholders.
It plans to pay ¥25 per share in the second quarter, followed by another ¥50 per share in the third quarter, totaling ¥75 per share for the fiscal year. Looking ahead, EURASIA TRAVEL forecasts a decline in annual operating profit by 42.2%, expecting a lower net profit of ¥17.85 per share for the entire fiscal year. The company attributes this projection to continued economic uncertainties and rising capital costs.
The firm's balance sheet showed total assets of ¥3.219 billion and equity of ¥1.730 billion as of March 31, 2026, reflecting a decrease in prepaid travel expenses and cash outflows related to dividends paid.
