Enechange Expands AI Capabilities Through Capital Tie-Up With Flight PILOT
TOKYO, Jul 31 (Pulse News Wire) – ENECHANGE Ltd. (4169.T) announced that its board of directors met on July 31, 2026 to approve a capital and business tie-up with Flight PILOT Co., Ltd.
As part of the agreement, ENECHANGE will acquire shares representing 84,266 of Flight PILOT's equity, giving it a voting rights ratio of 19.89%. Additionally, ENECHANGE will obtain AI image analysis software for inspection diagnostics from Flight PILOT. This move aligns with ENECHANGE’s strategic growth plan aimed at transforming inspection sites in distributed energy infrastructure through AI and DX technologies. Following previous acquisitions such as Darwin Inc., which specializes in emergency generator load testing inspections, ENECHANGE now seeks to enhance inspection processes across various infrastructures using advanced software solutions. Under the agreement, ENECHANGE will collaborate closely with Flight PILOT to integrate their specialized knowledge and operational expertise into inspection procedures, driving digital transformation in the field.
Future plans include exploring external sales opportunities for the diagnostic software, further strengthening ENECHANGE’s position in the sector. Prior to the acquisition, ENECHANGE held no shares in Flight PILOT. Post-acquisition, ENECHANGE will own 84,266 shares, accounting for 19.89% of the total equity. The transaction was finalized on July 31, 2026. Flight PILOT, founded in September 2018, provides infrastructure inspection services and develops AI-based damage detection systems.
Its latest financial figures show a net asset value of -¥205 million, total assets of ¥88 million, and revenue of ¥90 million for the fiscal year ending August 2025.
