Daishi Hokuetsu Financial Ups FY27 Outlook, Boosts Dividends

– Daishi Hokuetsu Financial Group,inc. (7327.T) revised upward its fiscal 2027 outlook and increased dividend expectations.

The revisions follow higher-than-anticipated interest income due to earlier-than-planned policy rate hikes. For the six months ending September 30, 2026, the group now forecasts consolidated ordinary profit of ¥38.80 billion per share, up from ¥36.00 billion previously. Full-year ordinary profit is projected at ¥78.00 billion per share, marking a 5.9% increase from prior guidance. The company also raised its interim dividend forecast to ¥40 per share from ¥38, reflecting stronger earnings prospects.

The final dividend remains unchanged at ¥80 per share. "We expect domestic policy rates to remain stable at their current level," said Chairman Masaru Shikage. "This supports our positive outlook." Daishi Hokuetsu's enhanced performance targets under its medium-term plan were also updated based on improved projections. The firm aims for a consolidated net profit target of ¥53.00 billion for fiscal 2027, up from ¥50.00 billion previously.
