Daido Steel Announces Changes to Board Composition

TOKYO, May 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Daido Steel CO.,LTD. (5471.T) announced changes to its board composition following updates to previously disclosed information.

On February 24, 2026, the company had initially disclosed plans for board member transitions, but recent developments led to further adjustments confirmed during today’s board meeting. Notably, Director Ryoi Yamamoto is set to retire due to the expiration of his term in mid-June 2026, prior to the annual shareholders' general meeting.

In addition, Kazuko Kawakami was newly appointed as an external director effective in June 2026 post-shareholders’ general meeting.
