Dai-Dan Announces Board Candidates for Annual Meeting

TOKYO, May 13 (Pulse News Wire) – Dai-dan CO.,LTD. (1980.T) announced on May 13 that its board of directors had determined the candidates for the upcoming 97th regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 26, 2026.

The candidates include several incumbents who will seek reappointment: Fuyuzawa Ichiro, Chairman; Yamazaki Yasuhiko, President and Representative Director; Sasakura Toshio, Executive Vice President and Head of East Japan Business Division; and Sasaki Yoichi, Director and Senior Executive Officer, CIO, and Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, Matsubara Bunzo, Sato Ikumi, Koai Kenkichi, and Nakazawa Masakazu, a new candidate, will also run for director positions. Nakazawa Masakazu, born in April 1989, brings extensive experience to his candidacy. He joined Osaka Gas Co., Ltd.

In 1989 and held various leadership roles within the company until becoming an advisor in April 2022. In addition to his advisory role at Osaka Gas, he currently serves as an advisor to Ojisys General Research Corporation and holds advisory positions at Osaka Gas Chemicals Co., Ltd. and Osaka Gas Customer Relations Co., Ltd. Notably, Kudou Hiromu, an external director, will retire upon the completion of his term on June 26, 2026.
