Cybertrust Japan Reports Major Shareholder Changes Amid SoftBank Group Integration
TOKYO, Jun 25 (Pulse News Wire) – Cybertrust Japan CO.,LTD. (4498.T) reported significant changes in major shareholders following the absorption merger of SB Technology, its controlling shareholder, into SoftBank Corporation effective April 1, 2026.
As a result, SoftBank now holds a substantial stake in Cybertrust Japan. Details of the merger were previously disclosed on April 20, 2026. According to the report, SoftBank Corporation owns approximately 51.2% of SB Technology's shares, making it the dominant shareholder of Cybertrust Japan. Additionally, SoftBank Group Holdings controls SB Technology indirectly through SoftBank Group Japan, which itself holds 100% of SB Technology’s shares.
SoftBank remains Cybertrust Japan's largest customer, accounting for a significant portion of the company's revenue during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The integration aligns with Cybertrust Japan's strategy to leverage technology partnerships within the broader SoftBank group while maintaining distinct service offerings focused on digital trust solutions such as PKI authentication and Linux core technologies. To ensure minority shareholder protection amid related party transactions, Cybertrust Japan adheres strictly to established procedures and internal regulations.
