Chiikishinbunsha Rejects Injunction Against Free Warrant Allocation
TOKYO, Aug 06 (Pulse News Wire) – Chiikishinbunsha CO.,LTD. (2164.F) confirmed today that the Chiba District Court rejected injunction requests filed by shareholders MTM Capital Corp.
And Option House Corp. against the free allocation of warrants. The court's decision allows Chiikishinbunsha to proceed with the warrant allocation as planned on August 12. In July, MTM and Option House had sought to halt the warrant allocation, arguing it violated shareholder equality principles and constituted unfair methods under the Companies Act. However, the court dismissed their applications on July 15 and July 29, respectively.
Official documents confirming the rejection are expected to be delivered tomorrow, August 7. MTM holds approximately 0.01% of Chiikishinbunsha’s shares, while Option House owns around 0.02%. Both companies lodged separate injunction requests on those dates. Chiikishinbunsha plans to allocate the warrants as scheduled but reserves the right to suspend or cancel the issuance based on recommendations from an independent committee if conditions change significantly before the effective date. The company will continue to disclose any updates related to this process.
