Chichibu Railway Adjusts Shareholder Benefits Amid Facility Closure

TOKYO, Aug 05 (Pulse News Wire) – Chichibu Railway CO.,LTD. (9012.T) announced changes to its shareholder benefits program effective March 31, 2027.

The alterations follow the closure of the Garden House Yuurin facility on November 30, 2026. Under the revised plan, shareholders holding more than 100 shares will now receive two ride vouchers valid across all Chichibu Railway lines, plus five one-way tickets for the Takao Mountain Ropeway. Additionally, shareholders owning between 300 and 500 shares will get four ride vouchers and five one-way ropeway tickets, while those with holdings exceeding 500 shares will receive six ride vouchers and ten one-way ropeway tickets.

Previously, shareholders received discounted meal coupons for Garden House Yuurin and special entry tickets for the Takao Small Animal Park. However, the discount coupons for Garden House Yuurin have been discontinued. Existing discount coupons for meals at Garden House Arinari, which were distributed in June 2026 and valid until June 30, 2027, can still be used at Tonmiso Don Restaurant within operating hours from December 01, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
