TOKYO, Jul 22 (Pulse News Wire) – Central Japan Railway Company (9022.NG) announced the completion of share repurchases based on resolutions made at its board meeting held on April 28, 2026. During the period from July 1, 2026, to July 21, 2026, the company purchased a total of 680,100 shares through open-market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, spending a total amount of ¥2.418 billion.
As of July 21, 2026, the cumulative number of shares acquired stands at 5,791,900 with a total acquisition cost of ¥20.00 billion. Additionally, the company disclosed the final count of shares scheduled for cancellation pursuant to the resolution passed during the same board meeting.
