Baroque Japan to Sell Fixed Asset, Book Special Gain in FY2027
TOKYO, Jun 25 (Pulse News Wire) – Baroque Japan Limited (3548.T) announced today that its board of directors approved the sale of a fixed asset, which is expected to result in a special gain of ¥148.9 million in the fiscal year ending February 2027. The decision was made to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen the company's financial structure.
The asset being sold includes approximately 316 square meters of land and 777 square meters of office space located in Tokyo, Meguro Ku Aobadai-3 Chome, currently used partially by the company’s headquarters. The transaction price will reflect market conditions but will not be disclosed due to confidentiality agreements with the buyer. The sale agreement is scheduled to be finalized on June 26, 2026, with the property transfer anticipated to take place by the end of December 2026.
The company noted that there are no capital, personnel, or transactional relationships between the buyer and Baroque Japan, thus avoiding related party transactions. In light of this sale, Baroque Japan expects to report a special profit of ¥148.9 million in its consolidated earnings for the fiscal year ending February 2027. Any necessary adjustments to previously published forecasts will be promptly communicated.
