Asahi Rubber TO RECORD PROVISIONAL GAIN FROM SECURITIES SALE IN FISCAL 2027

TOKYO, Aug 06 (Pulse News Wire) – ASAHI RUBBER INC. (5162.T) announced today that it has resolved to sell part of its investment securities holdings during the period from August 07, 2026 to September 30, 2026.

As a result, the company expects to record a provisional gain of approximately ¥116 million as extraordinary income. This decision was made during a board meeting held on August 06, 2026.

The sale is aimed at enhancing the effective utilization of the company's assets. Looking ahead, ASAHI RUBBER anticipates reflecting this gain in its extraordinary income for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 ending March 2027.

Additionally, the company’s previously disclosed earnings forecasts for the second quarter and full fiscal year 2027 have been adjusted to incorporate this anticipated gain.
