Asahi Printing TO DISCONTINUE EXECUTIVE SEVERANCE PAY PLAN

TOKYO, May 25 (Pulse News Wire) – Asahi Printing CO.,LTD. (3951.T) announced today that its board of directors has decided to abolish its executive severance payment system effective June 25, 2026.

Additionally, the company plans to propose the cessation of future severance payments to current executives during its upcoming 110th annual shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 25, 2026. The decision to discontinue the program stems from efforts to enhance transparency and governance within the company's compensation structure. As part of this initiative, the company intends to make final severance payments to continuing directors and auditors based on their tenure up until the termination of the aforementioned shareholder meeting.

Payments will be made according to the company’s established regulations within a reasonable range. Regarding the impact on performance, ASAHI PRINTING notes that it has historically accrued reserves for potential future severance payments.
