Artner Reports Effective Board Evaluation Results for FY2026

TOKYO, Apr 23 (Pulse News Wire) – Artner CO.,LTD. (2163.T) reported the results of its board effectiveness evaluation based on the Corporate Governance Code for the fiscal year ending January 2026.

The evaluation covered 34 items, assessing aspects such as board composition, operations, agenda, support systems, shareholder engagement, and group governance. According to the report, the board was found to function appropriately across all evaluated areas, confirming its overall effectiveness.

However, there was recognition among directors that further discussions and enhanced oversight are needed regarding diversity within the board and group governance issues. Specific areas identified for continued focus include diversifying board members, long-term strategic planning, succession plans for executive officers, and risk management in Group Zentai.

In response to these findings, Artner’s board intends to implement necessary measures to enhance its effectiveness going forward.
