Amuse To Cancel Excess Treasury Shares
TOKYO, Jul 24 (Pulse News Wire) – Amuse Inc. (4301.T) announced today that it has resolved to cancel excess treasury shares based on Article 178 of the Companies Act.
The decision was made during a board meeting held . According to the company's mid-term management plan disclosed on May 21, 2026, Amuse Inc. established a policy to hold up to 5% outstanding shares and cancel any excess shares annually by the end of July. Following this guideline, the company plans to cancel shares exceeding the holding limit.
The cancellation involves the following details: - Type of shares: Ordinary shares of Amuse Inc. - Number of shares to be canceled: 935,000 - Scheduled cancellation date: July 31, 2026 Post-cancellation, the total number of outstanding shares will be 17,688,520. The remaining self-held shares will amount to 884,385. It should be noted that the post-cancellation figure does not include shares held by the "Executive Compensation BIP Trust" (232,000 shares) and the "Stock Option ESP Trust" (356,000 shares).
