Advantest Reports Record Q1 Revenue and Profit, Raises FY26 Forecast

TOKYO, Jul 29 (Pulse News Wire) – Advantest Corporation (6857.T) reported record-high revenue and profit for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. Revenue reached ¥367.5 billion, up 103.7% year-over-year, while net income surged to ¥174.8 billion, marking an 84.6% increase compared to the same period last year.

The company also raised its fiscal year 2026 sales forecast to ¥1,420.0 billion, representing a 585.4 billion yen increase from the previous estimate. Operating income is now projected at ¥846.0 billion, reflecting a 346.9 billion yen upward revision.

Net income margin improved by 5.7 percentage points to 47.5%. Additionally, Advantest highlighted increased investments in research and development, partnerships, and accelerated capacity expansion to meet growing demand, particularly for semiconductor testers used in artificial intelligence applications.
