Abc Receives Physical AI Robot Galbot G1 and Begins Domestic Testing

TOKYO, Jul 14 (Pulse News Wire) – Abc CO.,LTD. (8783.T) announced today that it has received the physical AI robot "Galbot G1," marking the beginning of domestic testing as part of its push into the physical AI robotics sector.

The company entered into a product purchase agreement with Big Hands Corporation and introduced the humanoid robot on June 17, 2026. Currently, ABC's newly established Physical AI Robotics Department, along with strategic partner Big Hands Corporation, is working on initial setup, basic operation verification, demonstration environment preparation, and safety and operational assessments within the domestic environment. The robot is expected to be used across various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, retail, construction, and caregiving.

Specific applications include supporting tasks such as parts handling, lid-opening operations, heavy lifting reduction, warehouse movement, unloading and moving boxes, customer service demonstrations, and flexible autonomous control models in construction sites.
